Lake Norman Monster Sightings

Something HUGE rubbed right against my leg. It was definitely not a stick or lake weeds… it actually dragged my feet back a little bit!

My wife’s aunt saw something that terrified her. She lived on Lake Norman and saw something huge swim under her pier.

I was in my home on the north shore of LKN. There was a super moon so I got up very early to see it…

We were filming for our YouTube channel, Spooky Appalachia, when a lady came by and asked what we were filming…

I was paddling along in my kayak when I saw to the right of the nose of my boat just a foot or two away something the size of a grapefruit rising out of the water. At first it appeared to have long fur streaming from it as it rose through the water but once it broke the surface I saw that what had appeared to be fur was actually water streaming out of what looked like a gray snout.

My boat was docked at Lake Norman Marina. My friend and I were swimming in middle of the lake, my boat was anchored. My friend Scott was at rear of boat, I was in front. He screamed and immediately got in boat.

Looked out our back door and saw Normie heading towards the shore line this morning.
He looks around 15 feet

I was fishing for bass from the shore and this giant tail breaches from the end of the cove.
